Somehow, in spite of expectations, two other versions of chunk 51 were uploaded before mine and they are both extreely fucked up. Also irritatingly slick.

Day 3: The Theory
So, we have 8 shots in 15.9 seconds in this particular clip. It's really pretty straight forward, with the one really cool shot. Way less complicated than the 12 effects heavy shots I did for Star Wars Uncut. Now, it would be easy enough to do the 7 Luke/Han shots. But why should I? Why shouldn't I replace those 7 shots with tauntaun opening shots? Well, this is Empire Uncut; there is no reason I can't do that. People were more enslaved to doing each shot than almost anything else the first time around. There were a few things that didn't for effect (the CNN setup, the AIM conversations, etc.), but that was mostly it. Mine will technically be for effect too, and repeating a shot setup (more or less). But I see no reason not to proceed. Opening and closing will be in keeping to preserve continity per the rules. But Uncut is all about taking things to signify the things that were in Star Wars. This will explore what signifies one shot in more detail, at the expense of shots that signify little.
